You might recall, I shared a couple of extracts from my school reports for ADHD Awareness Month. Some of you may be surprised I still have them, that they were not lost years ago.
I found my school reports quite by chance, in the bottom of an old carrier bag full of jumbled up photos, negatives, autographs etc, while looking for photos to illustrate my Me Too blog.
I thought, I could use these reports in blog posts too, maybe in my presentation slides, maybe even in my ADHD diagnostic appointment.
But can I find them now, in this shit tip of a house? No. They must either be in one of our many doom piles, or tucked away somewhere safe (never to be seen again).
If I look through all the doom piles, it will bring me down, as my autism cannot stand all this disorder. I look around, and rather than face tidying and decluttering, I have to go out for a long walk until I am too knackered to care.
I really think ASD should be renamed, as mine definitely needs order among the chaos.
AuDHD, the struggle is real.
