Introduction from me: I am Charlie, my pronouns are she/her or they/them. I am bisexual, pansexual, and gender non-conforming. I am also multiple neurodivergent (autistic, ADHD, complex PTSD).
I have been a social media neurodiversity advocate since my autism epiphany in 2018, under the name ‘Ausome Charlie’ with an ‘Au’ for ‘Autistic’ in addition to being a key player in many EDI initiatives at work.
Last year, I left my permanent HR Analyst job to turn my side quest EDI into my main mission, and founded ‘Ausome Charlie Ltd’.
As a keynote speaker and inclusion consultant, I focus on neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace, and intersecting identities. My favourite topic is the ‘double rainbow’ intersection: Autistic and LGBTQIA+.
The LGBTQIA+ community is just as important to me as the neurodivergent community, and there clearly is a significant correlation. I promote understanding, support, compassion and love for all those on the ‘double rainbow’ 🌈 🌈
